The Design Revolution Road Show’s exhibition will be set up in a custom-renovated 17-foot 1972 Airstream Overlander trailer. The Airstream’s owner is Project H’s project manager Matthew Miller, who has owned it for 6 years (he and founder Emily Pilloton currently call the Airstream both “home” and “Project H headquarters”). The rig has been totally gutted, down to its “fuselage” form, and rebuilt into a sleek, open-plan interior that is perfect for an exhibition space. We’re working now to polish the exterior aluminum, as well as build the interior exhibition space by adding a few walls and pop-up fixtures made from milk crates and acrylic sheeting.

Airstream interior- original (before)
You’ll notice in the before and after photos that the original interior of the Airstream was much different, with not as much room to move around, and much less attractive interior fixtures. We’ve done our best to make the new Design Revolution Road Show Airstream space as open and clean as possible. Matthew Miller and Emily Pilloton (Project H’s founder) will be living out of the Airstream for the duration of the 3-month trip!
